Our Story
Will. Determination. Perseverance.
Sisu Boston was founded on the principle of '‘sisu'‘ (see’-soo)—a Finnish concept meaning having the courage and drive to overcome challenges. Inspired by this characteristic, our mission is to instill you with a bit of “sisu“ while helping you achieve your goals. We know you want to feel confident and pain-free while doing the things you love. We provide a comprehensive movement analysis, create personalized exercises just for you, and tailor our treatment to your goals. Always with one-on-one care for an hour. By addressing the underlying problem, we help you become a stronger and healthier version of yourself.
Built differently.
Sisu Boston is woman-owned concierge practice providing quality one-on-one physical therapy and performance training, both in-person and online. Our model is designed to give you exactly what you need to get back to being active again. Whether you’re returning to working out postpartum, or training for your first 5K or triathlon, we’ll help you exceed your goals and maybe even your own expectations.
Transforming physical therapy.
The traditional healthcare system can be frustrating with wait times, insurance hassles, and unexpected charges. At Sisu Boston, we want to make the process of seeing a trusted physical therapist convenient and simple, as it should be. Because you deserve to keep doing the things you love and living your best life, without pain.
