Since we want to provide you with the highest quality and personalized care, Sisu Boston is considered an out-of-network provider. This allows us to operate outside of the limitations of insurance including providing 60 minute one-on-one care sessions, and you’ll always know the cost of your session up front. This model often ends up resulting in fewer visits (your valuable time saved!), faster outcomes, and decreased overall cost.
We can easily prepare a super-bill for you, which will allow you to submit proof of your visit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement.

Less than 1% of all physical therapists are both residency and fellowship trained, due to the rigorous mentorship and additional years required following a standard Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree. Studies have shown that patients may have better clinical outcomes when working with a fellowship-trained physical therapist, meaning you’re statistically more likely to reach your goals when working with us!

There is a 24-hour cancellation policy due to the effect a cancellation has on accommodating other patients. If cancellation occurs within 24 hours, there will be a fee. The cost for a cancellation without notice (a “no-show”) is the full cost of your treatment session. Extenuating circumstances will be reviewed on an individual basis. If you have any questions or concerns regarding our policy, please contact us so that we can discuss.

Your first visit will be 60 minutes and one-on-one with your physical therapist. We will have a conversation about your medical history, goals for treatment, address any of your concerns, and develop a personalized treatment plan to jumpstart your path to pain-free activity. It may also include a physical exam looking at your range of motion, muscle strength, and functional movement control. We will give you a home exercise program and education on your condition so you can leave knowing you’re in control of your treatment plan.
